Stop worrying about EV range & pressure on the electric grid!

First it was range anxiety now it is electric vehicle (EV) charging putting pressure on the electric grid. I suspect that some of these doubts are being raised by people who are resistant to transition to sustainable transport and often have 'skin in the game' in relation to oil and gas industry.

I have been involved with EV events since 2016 and I have seen things evolved at such a rapid rate and billions invested. Batteries are getting smaller / cheaper and EV range getting longer. But that billions of investment is creating a whole new sustainable transport eco-system growing jobs and business opportunities.

General Motors in the US, through it's investment in electric vehicles, according to Axios "is becoming a diversified energy company" not only selling cars but "selling battery technology and energy management services to power not just cars, but also trains, boats, commercial equipment and buildings."

There is also a whole new industry on converting classic and vintage cars to electric power like this stylish 1960s convertible Porsche 356 Speedster. I photographed in in Switzerland some years ago.
