It is a common belief that that retired people should have appropriate and useful information to enable them to achieve this purpose. With this in mind and in consultation with our members we decided to create this health and lifestyle guide. The guide deals with over 20 topics such as diet, exercise, heart andmental health and common ailments. The information was drawn from a wide variety of sources from Ireland and abroad.
This guide is not intended to provide expert medical advice. We would encourage people to seek appropriate medical help if they are worried in any way about their health. In addition in the last part of the guide we include the contact details of over fifty organisations that can provide help and information related to many of the topics covered by the guide.
