Young people from around the globe are calling on world leaders to act on climate change today Wednesday (20 March 2019) 20 March 2019. This was in the form of a specially designed postcard with messages from young people sent from Europe‘s highest post office, Jungfraujoch, Swiss Alps. The postcard was celebrating the 125,000 young people from around the world who supported the attempt to create a new Guinness World Record of the world’s largest postcard with most contribution on 16 November 2018 at the same location.
Messages came form young people from Belgium, France, Germany, Malawi, Peru, Poland, South Africa, Switzerland , United Kingdom and USA. All of these activities have been organised by Swiss Agency for Development & Cooperation (SDC).
Present were SDC apprentices Sarangan Sivarajalingam (17) & Selma Schellenberg (17) both from Bern, Switzerland and Daniel Maselli from SDC who has organised this initiative. This is part of an ongoing youth environmental initiate by SDC.
